An Unforgettable Holiday on Chios Island

If you ask me how my time on Chios Island was, my answer is clear: I loved it! The feeling I get in Greece of “it’s similar to us, but not quite” was also present on Chios. With its stunning beaches, delicious food, and relaxed island atmosphere, it truly made me feel happy. In fact, I couldn’t help but joke about the Greek cuisine, saying, “You’ve just copied our dishes by adding ‘ki’ to the end of everything.” All jokes aside, I really love this cultural similarity!
Unless you run into crazy tourist crowds or long passport lines, it’s hard not to enjoy your time here. However, the visa issue is really frustrating. Due to the Schengen crisis, obtaining a visa has become increasingly difficult.

Chios Island is the fifth largest island in Greece. It’s not a small place, so having a car on the island is a great advantage.
Where you stay on the island completely depends on what you expect from your holiday. If you want peace and quiet, you might prefer a place in the villages. If you want activity and entertainment, staying in the town…
